With a wading bird in a fantastical landscape, with exotic flowering trees and a waterfall, and pagodas in the distance. The weaver's mark 'Dumonteil' to the lower edge of the picture frame border.
With minor restorations.
Tapestry workshops were maintained in Aubusson during the first half of the 18th century by Jacques, Pierre, and Gabriel Dumonteil.
