In silk and wool, both seat and back with a design of pomegranates, flowers and leaves on a dark ground, the seat edged on three sides with fringe. These covers can be compared to a Louis XV needlework carpet previously with Mallett, and illustrated in 'The Needle's Excellency', Lanto Synge, Mallett & Sons, 1997.
The seat 75cm deep and 80cm wide
The back 84cm high and 74cm wide
